In reviewing scores of articles on the conflict in Syria over the past two weeks, one thing is exceedingly clear: The U.S. can’t win.
In contrast, Russia has a clear strategy and rationale: Support Bashar Al-Assad since official state governments provide law and order. This was once true in Syria until the “Arab Spring” began in 2011. In other words, Russian policy now mirrors the cold war policy of the U.S that for 60 years traditionally supported authoritarian dictatorships that suppressed communist revolution (think Vietnam, Central and South America). Russia Becomes the Dominant Player in the Middle East
Russia is gaining a strong foothold in the Middle East. Coming to the aid of Bashar Al-Assad on the pretext of eliminating the threat posed by ISIS, Russia has moved dozens of airplanes, gunships, tanks, as well as hundreds of operational personnel into Syria. Mr. Putin and his military have warned the U.S. and the French to stay out of the way of Russian fighter-bombers as they target any and all groups opposed to their barbaric ally, Assad, including both ISIS and the so-called moderate Free-Syrian army … Read More
This month’s Prophecy Watchers magazine features an article I just wrote on the spiritual powers working behind the scenes in the current conflict in Syria and ultimately in the long-awaited Battle of Gog and Magog. RETHINKING GOG, MAGOG, AND THE DAUGHTER OF BABYLON
Daniel Duval is a great interviewer. He has interesting guests and is eager to challenge his guests (he throws curve balls, not soft balls!) We cover a lot of ground and get into considerable detail about imminent events in Bible prophecy and how they will impact America. We spend 100 minutes together discussing the powers and principalities behind Gog and Magog, the daughter of Babylon, the Prince of Persia, and how they have influenced present day geopolitical events.
Several persons have encouraged me to push harder to make sure everyone “within the … Read More
My friend John Price wrote a great recap of the issues that make this September one to approach with fear and trepidation (if you are not a child of God). Could we be seeing an economic collapse? Could the war between Russia and the U.S. that I’ve discussed be just around the corner? One thing is for sure, more students of Bible prophecy are on their toes and watching world events in anticipation of dramatic changes and even signs that we are moving into the times of fulfillment. Please enjoy this newsletter from John and check out his fine book, … Read More
