S. Douglas Woodward’s unfamiliar but undeniable biblical thesis upon which I am pleased to provide comment is simply this: the seat of the future Antichrist resides in the Babylon of the Last Days – and this “Babylon the Great” is none other than the United States of America. For most readers, this assertion is so unexpected that on the surface it seems the greatest of defamations – so much so that from the political Right one presumes to hear, “America, love it or leave it;” while from the Left,
In the last article on the subject of Mars, I explored the possibility that certain speculative assertions (some would insist I call them facts) about the Red Planet could be an important part of “the lie” (“pseudos” in the Greek – 2 Thessalonians 2:13, from which our antecedent pseudo derives; see also, “lying wonders” or pseudos teras – 2 Thessalonians 2:9). This cosmological falsehood will be a compelling myth that the Man of Sin (i.e., Antichrist) will propagate amongst the inhabitants of our little but cosmologically decisive planet.

My spiritual mentor, Dr. Francis Schaeffer, who has been called the greatest Evangelical theologian of the last 100 years, warned that as the anarchy increased in our world due to moral relativism, that totalitarianism would rise to control the chaos. Schaeffer issued that warning over 30 years ago and said we had a brief window in which to preserve our religious freedoms. Dr. Schaeffer believed that the greatest contributing factor to the rise of totalitarianism was the fact that the Evangelical Church was accommodating to a … Read More
The disturbing saga of mind control begins with the science of Ivan Pavlov early in the twentieth century – the famous Russian who tested dogs with bells and food pellets. His goal was simple: to understand how behavior is trained. Derived from his work was the psychological theory of Behaviorism based upon reflex conditioning. Pavlov’s dogs are a famous tidbit most of us recall from our high school psychology class.
However, the pertinent part of his story commences with the lesser known fact that whatever is learned can be ‘unlearned’ if the individual being trained is subjected to … Read More
