The second of four shows I recorded with Gary Stearman before leaving Oklahoma City, is now up on the Prophecy Watchers website.  If you are interested in a discussion on the possible identity of the Antichrist, this is an episode you will want to watch.

As per usual I’m quite analytic on the subject.  I consider the Islamic Antichrist a “theory” (hence I call it the Islamic Antichrist Theory or IAT for short).  My point of view is that the Antichrist could be Islamic but is more likely not… no human would claim to be God if he had been subscribing to Allah and Mohamed. The Muslim Mandate: (There is one God, Allah, and he has one prophet, Mohamed).  That by itself should invalidate any claim that the Antichrist will be a Muslim.

But there are, of course, many reasons to reject IAT.  Gary and I discuss these.  My research, which we discussed, was based on a book I wrote several years back, MISTAKEN IDENTITY: THE CASE AGAINST THE ISLAMIC ANTICHRIST.

The notion of IAT has its genesis in the downfall of the Soviet Union. With the crumbing of the Berlin Wall, there was an obvious need to come up with a new bad guy.  Terrorism, specifically Muslim terrorists were the obvious choice.  With 911, that choice was cemented.

Prophecy Watcher has created a special offer of three books.  In addition to MISTAKEN IDENTITY, they are offering THE FINAL BABYLON, and IS RUSSIA DESTINED TO NUKE THE UNITED STATES?  Additionally, they are including a DVD featuring Joel Richardson, the leading proponent (and founder) of IAT, debating me with Larry Spargimino of Southwest Radio Church.  The debate was conducted very “gentlemanly”.  Who won the debate?  It depends on what you believe about he identity of the Antichrist.  If you agree with Joel, you’ll argue he won.  If you disagree with Joel, you’ll find my arguments persuasive.  That’s the way most debates go… which is sort of unfortunate as it defeats the purpose of having them.

Their offer is $60.00 for all he books and DVD.  A fair price that supports their ministry and mine!  (Thank you).

What is my view?  Those that believe the IAT doesn’t fit the facts and doesn’t address all the points in biblical eschatology, usually assert that the “man of lawlessness” will come from the Western World, but more specifically England or America, aka the Anglo-American Alliance.  Furthermore, most believe the Antichrist will be luciferian in philosophy before he becomes thoroughly Satanic.

I hope you find the show interesting.
