WILL TRADITIONAL BIBLE PROPHECY TEACHERS BE LIKE THE RELIGIOUS SCHOLARS OF JESUS’ DAY, AND MISREAD THE SIGNS OF THE TIMES?
As any studied student of the history of eschatology knows, “The Great Disappointment” of William Miller in 1843 cautions us to NOT make bold predictions of the timing of Christ’s return. Miller’s following did the classic behavior of “selling everything and heading to the mountaintop to wait for His return.” The underlying motivation was to demonstrate a complete commitment to Christ’s Kingdom and to fully prepare for His return.

Yom Kippur (9-23-15): Will We Understand the Meaning of this Day?
Why We “Watch the Calendar”
Students of Bible prophecy pay close attention to dates. We can’t seem to help ourselves. We are eager for the Lord Jesus Christ to return and we seek to know how long it will be before He does. How Will September Be Remembered?
By S. Douglas Woodward
When the clock strikes 12:00 midnight, October 1, 2015, we will have concluded a month that Bible prophecy students looked forward to with awe—while others may have anticipated those 30 days, then ended, with considerable dread. September of 2015 will surely have proven to be a “September to remember.”
I’ve waiting a long time to finally publish an article in the Prophecy in the News Magazine. I’m very hopeful this will be the first of many in the months ahead.
This article is a short version of a much longer article that I published in my blog here entitled, Blood Moon Madness. If you are interested, click HERE to read the much larger article devoted to the same topic, plus several others closely related to the issue.
Both are drawn from my book, BLOOD MOON: BIBLICAL SIGNS OF THE COMING APOCALYPSE. This book is available on Kindle, iBook, … Read More
